Crafting Fun
We will be getting our creative juices flowing with some fun and easy craft projects.
Felt Santa ornaments~Beaded and fabric star ornaments and Button bouquets
Gather your felt, buttons, spools, salt and pepper shakers and bring the for a day of fun.
Christmas Crafts
For the Felt Santa ornament: Red felt, white felt and black felt -- just a 6 inch square or so of each is plenty. Sewing needle with red and white thread. Embroidery needle and about 18 inches of white embroidery thread.
I will supply the stuffing, glue and bead nose. Joy Neal
For folded star: I will have some pre-cut fabrics available. If you would like to make some with your own chosen fabrics, bring 3” x 10” rectangles for the larger star or 2” x 7” for the smaller. Each takes 3 rectangles, can be different or the same fabric. Arlene
For the beaded star: I will have Christmas colored beads available, as well as the thread/string required. Arlene
For the button bouquets: Bring your buttons and a base such as a wooden spool, salt or pepper shaker or small vase. Some may want to bring silk flowers or pieces of felt to make flowers for behind the buttons.
I will provide the wires and pliers. Diane
