To enter the Members pages, use the password on the front of your membership card or contact, Diane [email protected]. If you do not see the titles above, look to the top left of your screen for the 3 dashes, on your system, this is where you will find the tabs.
Meetings
Meetings are held in the Westminster Presbyterian Church basement, Anacortes, 1300 9th Street at 1 p.m. unless otherwise noted on the first Monday of the month. We have a handwork social at 10:30. Enter from the side door on M street. If you need the elevator it can be accessed from the parking area between the church and the museum on the side. Use the doorbell to get our attention if the door is not open.
FIQ Membership
All members will be asked to fill out a new membership form so we have your current information. Membership forms are not valid until approved by the FIQ Board. If you are over 80 membership is free, a membership form still needs to be filled out . Once approved by the board, you will receive your membership card in the mail or at the next meeting.

FIQ BOARD MEETINGS first Monday of the month at 3 p.m. (after the meeting) Everyone is welcome to attend!
November 11- 10:00 Art Quilters-We will be making fabric scrap Christmas cards-For our November meeting we are going to work together on learning to make some fabric Holiday cards. Bring Christmas, Winter, holiday, red, green, gold and whatever seems festive scraps of fabric. We should be able to this with small bits and pieces and share amongst the group. Bring your favorite fusible, glue stick or tacky glue. If you have some card blanks to work with bring those along also.
November 13th-The Divas’ next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13th, 10 am to Noon, at the Anacortes Senior Activity Center.The meeting will begin with an introductory question of the day. Followed by an educational presentation by Anita Luvera Mayer on Ten Basic Simple Shapes and Patterns for Everyone. Anita will emphasize her philosophy of style and will show how to create clothing that is wearable, flattering and stylish. As always, there will be free stuff for the taking, as well as time for “show and share”. Guests are always welcome to join us!

The meeting will be our annual potluck, party and social gathering!!! Please bring your own drinks, as well as your own place setting (plate, silverware) to use.
If your last name begins with:
A-J please bring a main dish, or side dish to share with utensils
K-Z please bring a dessert or appetizer
Since it is a holiday party, please bring show and share that focuses on the season, let's be festive!!!

December 6th-Call for artwork for Birds of a Fiber 2025! Entry submissions must be received by
December 6, 2024, 5 PM PT.
December 9th Art Quilters -10-12:30-Westminster Presbyterian Church We had fun last month making Christmas cards from our fabric stash scraps. I have heard from a few of you that you have continued to make more cards and are creating quite collection. Please bring some of your finished cards and inspire the rest of the group. Let’s have some fun sharing some of your Christmas or Holiday fabric art that you have made over the years for ‘Show and Share.’We will also continue to work together on some more Holiday cards while chatting about the creative schedule for our meetings for the next couple months. Bring your ideas for what you would like to do. Bring Christmas fabric scraps, scissors, glue stick, steam a seam, markers, embellishments, and card stock.

January-FIQ University-10:30 Sewcial-come early with handwork projects or just to visit. Bring a lunch. 1:00 General meeting starts.
We are still looking for quilters to show a unique technique. Please contact Joy Neal.

Birthday treats-If January is your birthday month, (We would like you to be the hostesses-please bring a treat to share at our meeting. We also ask that you clean up after. We will continue this each month through the year.
