Demos
¨ Random Demos - Someone will be bound to do something someone will find interesting and there will just be a random, spontaneous demo – be prepared! Random demos are usually followed by a quick trip to Ben Franklin!!
¨ Quilt Math – I will help anyone with quilt math if you need it. Resizing, yardage, …whatever.
¨ Anything you want to know - but were afraid to ask – JUST ASK. We will have wealth of knowledge at camp and we are all willing to share that knowledge with you. Feel free to ask me or someone else who looks like they know what they are doing anything and we will try to help. If we can’t help we’ll keep looking and we’ll Google it if we have to!
Camp Huston information taken from their website in regards to meals. They must have a 10 day notice prior to you coming of food restrictions. We provide food service in our beautiful dining hall, where all meals are prepared on-site by our loving Food Service Manager Teri. Teri can accommodate most dietary needs and food allergies. (Please submit dietary information at least ten days prior to the beginning of a retreat.) At Camp Huston, we believe in providing quality and choice at mealtimes. As a result, our kitchen staff put out a well-stocked salad bar to accompany every lunch and dinner. We accompany every breakfast with eggs, oatmeal, and a selection of yogurts, cereal, and juices. Guests can enjoy fresh coffee in the dining hall, as well as black tea, green tea, herbal tea, hot chocolate, and spiced cider. We serve meals family style, to encourage guests interacting in a community setting. Above all, we hope that guests enjoy the stunning view of Mount Index and Mount Persis from your table.
