The board has changed our fiscal year to Jan-Dec and has decided to go year round programs rather than take off the Summer months. You will have a revised set of by-laws to approve in the near future. In the meantime, we will be collecting dues for the 2023 year. $35 per person, $45 for two members of the same family, 80 year olds are still free. No raffle tickets since we don't have a quilt to raffle off at this time. Be sure we have your correct email for notifications!
Community Quilts

Our Guild donates crib or lap-size quilts that are in turn given to the more than 300 children and moms a year, who pass through a variety of shelters.
Creating a Community Quilt: FABRIC: 100% cotton appropriate for kids from toddler to teen. If you don’t have material for the back, Community Quilts has fabric that can be used for backs. Tops only are OK.
SIZE: Although there are no hard and fast rules, it is easiest if the width is no more than width of fabric! So, general measurements are width of fabric and 50-60″ long. Their is a Community Quilts meeting the last Monday of each month at the church from 10:00-1:00. Please contact Jennie Wallis for more information.

Wearable Art Divas
Our mission is innovative use of textiles and surface design in wearable art clothing. Many of the same construction and ornamentation techniques used in traditional quilting are used in art clothing. Divas not only produce clothing but also accessories. Our meetings are planned to challenge our innovation and learn from one another and guest programs. We employ an emphasis on sharing but we also plan challenges. We also have a great deal of fun! We meet a the Senior center on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. Contact Helen Montgomery to get on the email for meeting location.
Quilt Rack Rental
Quilt Racks
The Guild has a large quantity of wooden Quilt Racks for displaying quilts. These are available for rental to other guilds, organizations and individuals, who are known associates of current Guild members. The rental period is usually for 7 days. The fee is $2.00 per upright and $2.00 per cross bar. All feet and hardware are included with each rental. There is a $100 damage deposit for all rentals. This is usually waived for a Guild member who only rents one or two racks for a short period. The deposit check is held by the Rack Rental Coordinator, (not cashed or deposited) until the racks are returned. It is then shredded or returned to the renter, which ever the renter would prefer.
The racks are located in Deming, Wa in a heated storage area.
The renters are required to bring enough help to carry the racks from the storage area to the parking lot. The Rack Coordinator is not expected to help load the racks.
The prospective renters usually contact the coordinator to reserve the rental dates. As soon as the deposit is received; the dates are confirmed and rack pickup and return times are arranged at a mutually agreeable time for all parties. No rack rentals are scheduled during the week of and proceeding FIQ’s Quilt show or the Woolley Fiber Quilter’s(WFQ) quilt show.
